Itinerary

Day 1 - Tangier to Tetouan to Chefchaouen (112 km)

Meet your guide at the port or airport to start your 10-day Morocco trip from Tangier to Marrakech. Drive through the Rif Mountains and enjoy the wonderful views of Chefchaouen. Spend the afternoon exploring this beautiful blue and white town. Overnight in a local riad or hotel.

 

 

 

 

Day 2 - Chefchaouen to Volubilis to Meknes to Fes (277 km)

Depart for Fes in the morning, passing through several Rif villages. Visit the archaeological site of Volubilis, featuring well-preserved Roman ruins. Continue to Meknes, where you’ll visit Bab el-Mansour and Moulay Ismail Tombs. After lunch, drive to Fes for an overnight stay in a local riad.

 

Day 3 - Fes Sightseeing Tour with a Local Guide

Explore the oldest city in Morocco, walking through its alleys and narrow streets. Visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, Al Karaouine University, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Fes medina. Overnight in the medina.

 

 

Day 4 - Fes to Azrou Cedar Forest to Midelt to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes) (469 km)

Travel to Merzouga via Ifrane, a winter ski resort resembling a Swiss village, and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the beautiful forests, rock faces, and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in Midelt, known for its fossils and apples, then continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive in Merzouga and stay in a local hotel near the dunes.

 

 

 

 

Day 5 - Merzouga Area, Camel Trek, and Overnight Camping (45 km)

After breakfast, explore the Merzouga area. Visit the Gnawa people in Khamlia village and learn about their music and lifestyle. Meet nomad families living in Berber tents. Enjoy a local meal (Berber pizza) before returning to the hotel to prepare for a camel trek. Ride camels to a desert camp and enjoy dinner, Berber music, and stargazing.

 

 

 

 

Day 6 - Merzouga to Jerf to Todgha Gorges to Dades Valley (269 km)

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Return to the hotel by camel, then drive to Rissani, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorges. Enjoy lunch in the gorge, then continue through the Dades Valley, known for its majestic sand castles and rock formations. Overnight in a traditional guest house.

 

 

 

 

Day 7 - Dades Valley to Ouarzazate (132 km)

Travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. Meet Berber nomads in their caves and visit the fertile Rose Valley. Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna to purchase rosewater. Continue to Skoura and visit the Kasbah Amridil. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and spend the night in a local hotel or riad.

 

 

 

Day 8 - Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah to Marrakech (196 km)

Continue the journey to Marrakech, stopping to visit or take pictures at the Ouarzazate movie studios. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying panoramic views and Berber villages, before arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.

 

 

Day 9 - Marrakech Sightseeing Tour with a Local Guide

Explore Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, El Bahia Palace, and the Djemaa el Fna square and its souks. After lunch, visit the Majorelle Garden. Return to your hotel for the night.

 

Day 10 - Transfer to the Airport

Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your 10-day Morocco trip from Tangier to Marrakech.

Do I need a sleeping bag for the night in desert?

No, you don’t need a sleeping bag, at our 4 days tour Tangier to Marrakech, you will stay at an equipped desert camp with all amenities.

Is there any other way to reach the camp instead of Camels?

Yes, as we mentioned in the includes list, regarding travelers who don’t like to go on camels, we use a 4×4 car to transfer them to and from the camp, without any extra charge as well. You just need to inform us at the time of booking.

How to book this tour? Any Cancelation policy?

To confirm the 4 days tour Tangier to Marrakech, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer to our account, the balance is payable in cash at the pick-up, to be paid to your driver in euros, or equal in dollars or dirhams.

Is it possible to pay the entire with PayPal?

Usually, we request the balance payments in cash because PayPal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it’s a world institution.

We can in some cases accept the complete payment via Paypal however a 5% fee is going to be applied to hide the additional transaction charges. just in case you’re considering this method, it’s best to rearrange the payment before the tour.
