Explore the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest and most impressive Islamic monuments, and take a stroll along the corniche. Depart for Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, to visit the splendid Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Later in the afternoon, continue to Fes, passing through Meknes for a brief stop to see the famous Bab Mansour gate. Check-in at your hotel in Fes for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel towards Ifrane, often referred to as the Moroccan Switzerland, and continue to Azrou to visit the largest cedar forest in Morocco and see the Barbary Apes. After lunch in Midelt, head towards Merzouga, stopping for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon and begin your camel trek to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a desert camp, where you can savor delicious food and enjoy traditional Berber music around the campfire.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. After a shower, travel to Tinghir and visit the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.
