Itinerary

Day 1 -Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou to Ouarzazate to Boumalne Dades (325 km)

Depart from your accommodation or the airport in the morning and travel to Dades Valley. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m high). Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as “the gate of the Sahara desert,” and visit Kasbah Taourirt and the film studios. Drive through the road of a thousand Kasbahs to Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Riad or hotel.

 

 

 

 

 

Day 2 - Dades Valley to Todgha Gorges to Merzouga Sahara Desert (269 km)

After breakfast, head to Todra Gorges, passing through the town of Tinghir. Enjoy a walk within the narrow canyon of the Todra Gorges and take pictures of the 300m high cliffs. Continue to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, with a stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival, take a camel trek to the heart of the desert, enjoy the sunset, and try sandboarding. Have dinner and enjoy a music party around the campfire before spending the night in a Standard or Luxury Desert Camp.

 

Day 3 - Merzouga Sahara Desert Discovery Trip (40 km)

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, camel trek back to your Riad or Hotel in Merzouga. Start an off-road adventure tour around the sand dunes, visiting Khamlia village for a cup of tea and Gnawa music. Explore the beautiful panoramic view of the dunes, experience nomadic lifestyles, visit deserted mines, and an oasis of palm trees. Return to Merzouga for free time and overnight at a hotel.

 

 

Day 4 - Merzouga to Rissani to Erfoud to Ziz Valley to Errachidia to Midelt (263 km)

Leave the Sahara Desert after breakfast and travel to Midelt via Rissani and Erfoud. Walk through the authentic Souk in Rissani and continue towards Midelt, stopping for panoramic views of palm trees over the Ziz Valley. Pass through Errachidia and the Rich Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock. Reach Midelt for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

 

 

 

 

Day 5 - Midelt to Atlas Mountains to Azrou (Cedar Forest) to Fes (204 km)

After breakfast, travel from Midelt to Fes via the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing small mud Berber villages. Stop to take photos with the Barbary apes in the Cedar forest before the town of Azrou. Continue to Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in Fes. Overnight in a hotel or Riad.

 

 

 

 

Day 6 - Full Day Fes Imperial City Sightseeing Tour

Explore the oldest monuments in Fes with a local guide. Visit the Nejjarin Museum, Al Quaraouin (the oldest university in Morocco), the Jewish Quarter, and the famous leather tannery. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore more of the city. Overnight in a hotel or Riad.

 

 

 

 

Day 7 - Fes to Volubilis to Meknes to Rabat (205 km)

Depart from Fes to Rabat via Meknes. Visit the archaeological site of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In Meknes, visit Bab El Mansour, the Lahdim square, the spices Souk, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue to Rabat, visiting the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan II tower, and the Mohamed V mausoleum. Overnight in a hotel or Riad.

 

 

 

Day 8 - Rabat to Casablanca to Marrakech (323 km)

Depart from Rabat in the morning for Marrakech via Casablanca. Visit the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the second-largest mosque in Africa. Continue to Marrakech, where the rest of the day will be at your leisure. Explore Djemaa El Fnaa square or other parts of the city before being dropped off at your hotel, Riad, or the airport, marking the end of your 8-day trip.

Do I need a sleeping bag for the night in desert?

No, you don’t need a sleeping bag, at our 4 days tour Tangier to Marrakech, you will stay at an equipped desert camp with all amenities.

Is there any other way to reach the camp instead of Camels?

Yes, as we mentioned in the includes list, regarding travelers who don’t like to go on camels, we use a 4×4 car to transfer them to and from the camp, without any extra charge as well. You just need to inform us at the time of booking.

How to book this tour? Any Cancelation policy?

To confirm the 4 days tour Tangier to Marrakech, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer to our account, the balance is payable in cash at the pick-up, to be paid to your driver in euros, or equal in dollars or dirhams.

Is it possible to pay the entire with PayPal?

Usually, we request the balance payments in cash because PayPal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it’s a world institution.

We can in some cases accept the complete payment via Paypal however a 5% fee is going to be applied to hide the additional transaction charges. just in case you’re considering this method, it’s best to rearrange the payment before the tour.

Is it possible to pay the entire via Wise or bank transfer?

Yes, we accept the entire cost via Wise and bank transfer but there will be a 2% extra to cover the transaction fee.
